Grand Palace and Wat Phra Keaw, is without question the city's most famous landmark. It was built in 1782 and was for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government. The Grand Palace of Bangkok has many visitors everyday with its beautiful architecture and fascinating details, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people. Within its walls were also the Thai war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Keaw remains the spiritual heart of Thailand.
The Grand palace and Wat Phra Keaw has a strict dress code because it is Thailand's most sacred site. Visitors must be dressed properly before being allowed to enter the temple.
Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves
If you are wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks (no bare feet)
Women as well must be modestly dressed. No see-through clothes, bare shoulders, etc.
If you show up at the front gate improperly dressed, there is a booth near the entrance that can provide clothes to cover you up properly (a deposit is required)

Walk 8 minutes from Biootouch Thailand to BTS Ekamai Skytrain Station
Take the BTS to Saphan Taksin BTS Skytrain Station
Go out through Exit No. 2, and look for the dock for the Chao Phraya Express Boat.
The boat takes several routes; the "orange flag," "green flag" and "no flag" routes get you to the Grand Palace. Whichever route you take, get off at stop No. 9, which is the Tha Chang Pier.
From there, it's a 5- to 10-minute walk to the entrance of the Grand Palace.
